Memphis doctors dance band

I always admired your father. Congratulations, Charlie, on a life very well-lived! I remember Charlie playing in our PKA fraternity band. He was good at everything he did. You be missed. John Coleman. My deepest sympathy goes out to the family of renowned plastic surgeon, Dr. Charles White. What a legacy we celebrate: his generous additions to the literature of medical knowledge, the relief of pain and suffering on the part of thousands plus the restoration for them of respectable appearance with the precise movement of his skillful hands, and the genuine fun he had with his family and with his music.

Now those hands are being magnanimously rewarded as well as being lifted in praise to the eternal Savior and healer who gives us all the victory if we only reach out and accept his matchless gift of grace.

I wish I could be there and see all of you, however, I have pressing musical responsibilities at my home church. If I could've been there, I would want to play something on the piano in Charlie's honor , and it would probably be the exquisite arrangement I have of the American Colonial Hymn, "Land of Rest". I will be using this in my own church on All Saints Day and will play it with honoring Charlie in mind. I wish the Doctor's band a flawless performance and anyone else who plays in Charlie's honor.
